Instructions
  1. Step 1

Register to take the MCTS certification for Windows Mobile or Exam 70-540. The dates vary and most major cities offer a conveniently located testing site. See the resources section for more information.

Pay the registration and testing fee to ensure your spot at the testing site. Placement availability is first come first serve at the specific testing sites. Therefore, the sooner you pay the registration fee, the more likely you will get a slot to take the MCTS certification for Windows Mobile test.

However, there are online subscriptions that Microsoft offers that you can use on your own to study for the exam. See the Resources section for more information.

  4. Step 4

Understand the .net framework, which is the basis for the Microsoft Mobile application programming. If you do not understand this framework, it is best to learn this area as well as the Windows Mobile specifics. See the Resources section for more information.

  5. Step 5

Take and pass the MCTS certification for Windows Mobile exam. Once you prepare fully for the exam and get plenty of rest, you can take the exam and pass it.
