Raves are all night dance parties that feature loud music and large crowds. People who attend raves are known as ravers and have developed a specific fashion which caters to their needs on the dance floor. By planning ahead for a long, sweaty night, you will fit right in with your unique raver fashion.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Wear loose clothing at all times. Hours of dancing make you sweaty, so getting as much air as possible to your skin will help you keep going. Baggy pants and loose-fitting shirts are a staple with ravers.

  2. Step 2

Layer your clothing so as the night progresses you can adjust your wardrobe. As you heat up from dancing, take off your loose shirt and wear a tank top, or remove your loose pants to reveal a pair of shorts underneath.

  3. Step 3

Bring a comfortable pair of shoes when you attend a rave. You will be on your feet dancing on hard surfaces for the majority of the night. If your feet and knees start to ache, you may not have as much fun. A solid pair of shoes will help keep you going until the end of the night.

  4. Step 4

Accessorize yourself with fun, bright jewelry such as Day-Glo necklaces and bracelets. Many claim that these add to the visual sensation at a rave.

Tips & Warnings
  • Keep a bottle of water close by. Dancing creates a large amount of sweat and one of the hazards of raving is dehydration. Drink water all night to avoid this problem.
