1. Get tickets to a sporting event where you can support his team together. Also include memorabilia like a jersey sporting the number of his favorite player so he can wear it to the game.

2. Buy him three gift cards (one to the restaurant that serves his favorite drink, one to the place with his favorite dinner and one to the place that serves his favorite dessert) and join him to experience his favorite meal over the course of a weekend.

3. Book a weekend getaway to a resort where you can both partake in a relaxing activity that he loves, like golfing or wine tasting.

4. Sign him up for a class to improve his skills surrounding a favorite hobby like photography or paragliding. Take the class along with him to learn more about his interests.

5. Let him know there's a convention in town dedicated to one of his hobbies like sports memorabilia collecting, cars or comic books. Tour the arena and buy your boyfriend a gift of his choice if the show features a vendor fair.

6. Order tickets to a local film festival that showcases a genre your boyfriend enjoys. Sit through several of the movies with him, even if they're not your cup of tea. Many festivals also feature events like panel discussions and receptions that the public can attend.
