How to Get a Boy

When you are shy or awkward around guys, or you just moved to a new place, you may feel lonely. You can get a boy by doing a few key things to get him to notice and jump start an attraction.

1. Become more outgoing and increase your circle of friends. Boys want to date fun, gregarious girls, and the more you go out with your friends, the more likely you are to get the boy.

2. Take interest in his likes and hobbies. You can ask a boy you are interested in what he enjoys doing, and you can get him to go out with you by inviting him to do the things he likes.

3. Hang out where the boys are. Find a sports bar or other local male haunt that the types of guys you are interested in hang out. Make yourself available in these types of places, and you can get a boy in no time.

4. Show some restraint when a guy asks for your number. You should never jump at the first chance to go out with a boy, and make him fit into your schedule instead of you making time for him. This'll get him interested.

5. Take yourself seriously, and stop looking if you want to get a boy. It is an old adage that if you aren't looking for love, it finds you. Just take the time to enjoy your own hobbies and self improvement, and as your self confidence soars, so does your appeal.
