How to Fix Squeaky Shoes
Nothing is more embarrassing then walking down a quiet hallway and all you hear is the sound of your squeaky shoes. Usually, shoes squeak when two of the materials rub against one another, which happens during manufacturing.

1
Pour foot powder into and over the shoes; try the Neat Feet Foot Powder. Walk in the shoes after giving the shoes a good dusting to see if they still squeak.
-
2
Check the heel of the shoes. If it has started to detach from the rest of the shoe, you'll notice a squeaking sound when you walk. Fix this probably by reattaching the heel to the shoe with glue or another adhesive material.

3
Rough up the soles. To do this, rub sandpaper over the soles until they look worn.

4
Dry your shoes. Wet shoes also make a squeaking sound when worn. Let the shoes dry in the sunlight or tumble dry them on low. After they have dried, the shoes will no longer make the annoying sound.

Tips & Warnings
If you can't fix the squeaky shoes and you have just purchased them, return them to the store. Ask for a replacement or pick out a different pair that does not squeak when you walk.
You can also wait the squeaking sound out. After walking in the shoes several times, the sound may stop on its own.
