How to Repair a Broken Stroller
A broken stroller is a disaster that easily ruins a walk in the park on a sunny afternoon. Fixing a stroller is an overwhelming task, and you may not have the right tools available to you.

Diagnose the problem. Locate the part of the stroller that needs repair. Some problems require more than one solution.

Look at the stroller's canopy. The canopy is easily torn or damaged. It is the part of the stroller that most often needs repair.

Locate any tears in the canopy. Use a sewing kit to sew the tears. If the tear is too large to sew, use the duct tape for a quick fix.

Examine the straps. Find any broken stroller straps.

Pin the broken straps together with a few diaper pins until the straps are secure.

Look at the wheels. Refasten any wheels and tighten any loose screws around the wheels and the base of the stroller.

Be sure to use the stroller's breaks before beginning a repair.
Most stroller manufactures will send out a repair kit upon request.
Be sure to use an umbrella or jacket to shelter your child if you cannot fix a broken canopy.
To prevent injuries, take your child out of the stroller prior to beginning any repairs on the straps, canopy or wheels.
