Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 package frozen pizza dough, thawed
  • Flour for dusting working surface
  • 2 tsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella jack cheese
  • 1 small can tomato sauce
  • 2 garlic gloves, finely chopped
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1 3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 pkg. pepperoni slices
  • 1 can sliced olives
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced in strips
  1. Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Step 2

Divide the pizza dough into two equal pieces, and place it on a lightly floured surface. Roll each piece into a circle about 12 inches in diameter. Pinch the edges with your fingers so the dough will hold the additional ingredients.

  3. Step 3

Brush each pizza with olive oil, and sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the top.

  4. Step 4

Place the tomato sauce in a small bowl, and stir in the chopped garlic, minced onion and oregano. Spread half of the tomato sauce mixture on each pizza, and sprinkle the grated cheddar cheese over the sauce.

  5. Step 5

Slice two pieces of pepperoni in triangular shapes, and put two jack o'lantern eyes on each pizza. Place a sliced olive in the middle of the pepperoni slice to look like a cut-out piece in the jack o'lantern eyeball.

  6. Step 6

Arrange the red pepper slices in the shape of a carved jack o'lantern mouth. Add additional garnishes, if desired.

  7. Step 7

Bake the Halloween pizza for about 25 minutes, until the crust is golden brown.
