How to Make Radioactive Punch for Halloween

Have fun making a big ugly bowl of radioactive punch for your next Halloween party. The secret to good radioactive punch is creating a properly yucky shade of bluish green with a few lumps of radioactive matter floating on top. Your guests may wrinkle their noses at first, but believe it or not, radioactive punch is quite delicious. Does this Spark an idea?

Things You'll Need

  • 1 cup blueberries
  • Blender or food processor
  • 1 packet blue powdered drink mix
  • 2 qt. frozen orange or pineapple juice, thawed
  • 2 qt. lemon lime soda or ginger ale
  • 1 qt. lemon or lime sherbet

      Put the blueberries in a blender or food processor, and blend them until they're still rather lumpy.

      Combine the blueberries with the blue powdered mix, juice and soda.

      Chill the radioactive punch mixture in the refrigerator until you're ready to serve.

      Pour the chilled mixture into a large punchbowl, and add the lemon or lime sherbet just prior to serving.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you're worried about overloading your guests with too much sugar, use sugar-free lemon lime soda or ginger ale.

  • You can substitute the blue powdered drink mix with a few drops of blue food coloring

  • Add an extra creepy touch by freezing a few plastic bugs in an ice cube tray. Add a drop of blue or green food coloring, and float the plastic bug cubes in the radioactive punch.

  • Garnish your radioactive punch with a few radioactive green and yellow gummy worms. Just drape them over the side of the punch bowl.
