How to Make a Flipbook
A flipbook is basically stop-motion animation, or the breaking down of motion into individual frames, with one frame per page. With Motionbox, home videos are easily broken down into individual stop motion frames and turned into personalized, handheld flipbooks.

Upload Videos to Motionbox

Log on to the Motionbox website and register. The site is free unless you decide to upgrade to a premium membership.

Click the "Start Using Basic Membership" link on the member's home page that you're directed to immediately after registering.

Hit the "Upload Videos" button.

Select "Add Files" in the video upload pop-up box.

Browse your hard drive to find the video clip you want to upload to Motionbox. Double-click on the file. The link is set in the box provided. Click the "Start Upload" button.

Select "Upload Additional Files" or "Close Uploader" when the first upload is finished.

Wait while your video is optimized for quality. This can take a while. Motionbox sends you an email telling you when the video is ready for viewing.

Press the button with the play arrow icon on it to view the video. If you like what you see, you're ready to make a flipbook.
Make a Flipbook

Select "Create Flipbook" in the "Make a Flipbook" box at the top right of the Motionbox video player screen.

Choose the video you want to make into a flipbook from the list presented down the right side of the screen. Press the "Pick This Video" button beneath the video's thumbnail.

Pick a cover for the flipbook from the cover art thumbnails provided by Motionbox. Press the "Select" button beneath the thumbnail.

Type a title and subtitle for the flipbook in the entry boxes provided. Click "Preview Your Cover."

Click "Order Flipbook" at the bottom right of the screen once you finalize the cover and title choices.

Tell Motionbox how many copies of the flipbook you want. Enter your credit card, billing and shipping information.

Select "Confirm This Order" at the bottom right of the page.
