Things You'll Need:

  • 3 packages cream cheese
  • 4 tbsp. chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 2 tsp. prepared horseradish
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 cans crabmeat
  • Salt, pepper and chopped almonds to taste
  1. Step 1

    Set the cream cheese out for about an hour so it will soften completely.

  2. Step 2

    Assemble the chopped onions and remaining ingredients. Measure them, and place in a bowl.

  3. Step 3

    Add the cream cheese to the ingredients in the bowl. Mix thoroughly.

  4. Step 4

    Stir in the crab meat completely. Place in a baking dish, and cook for 25 minutes at 325 degrees F.

  5. Step 5

    To thin the dip down, add up to half cup of mayonnaise.

  6. Step 6

    Serve with crackers or vegetable sticks.

Tips & Warnings
  • Hollow out a round loaf of bread, put in the cream cheese crab dip and then bake.
  • You can also hollow out large button mushrooms, add the cream cheese crab dip and bake for 15 minutes.
  • Do not leave the dip out for hours. After all, this is seafood, and you must refrigerate any leftovers.
