Select the appropriate blog type. If your blog platform isn't listed, select "Other."

Choose a badge layout and design scheme, and any other options you want. Depending on your blog platform, you may have different layout and design options.

Copy the code Twitter provides to your clipboard. Insert the code into your blog template as Twitter instructs.

Send a tweet and reload your blog's webpage to verify that Twitter Tools is installed.

Visit the Twitter Tools WordPress Plug-in webpage. Download and expand the file.

Upload the file "twitter-tools.php" to the wp-content/plugins/ folder on your blog server.

Open the WordPress "Plug-ins" page in your Administration panel. Click "Activate" on Twitter Tools.

Set your Twitter account information and your plug-in preferences on the Twitter Tools options page in your Administration panel.

Send a tweet and reload your blog's web page to verify that Twitter Tools is installed.
