The farside Metzger is a valuable wrestling move in that it allows you to escape an attack and reverse it upon your opponent. Since it ends in what can be scored as a three point throw, it's a handy thing to know for your matches as well.

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Use a farside Metzger when you are attacked in wrestling with a bodylock. Spin around as your opponent grabs you from behind, and loop your left arm over the right arm of your opponent.

  2. Step 2

Loop your left arm around the back of your opponent's head, keeping him as close as you can manage as you both fight to keep your balance.

  3. Step 3

Reach down with your right hand and grab the inside of your opponent's right thigh and lift it up.

  4. Step 4

Pull up on your opponent's thigh and down on your opponent's head as you do a farside Metzger in wrestling.

  5. Step 5

Step forward with your left leg as you do a farside Metzger in wresting, preventing your opponent from regaining his balance.

  6. Step 6

Twist your upper body while you continue to pull up on your opponent's leg and down on your opponent's head. Throw your opponent down to the mat or the ground as you finish the farside Metzger in wrestling.
