One way to stay organized while surfing online is to bookmark your favorite websites. Arrange them in a certain order to allow easy access to them later. The bookmarks in Mozilla Firefox are organized in a slightly different way than other Internet browsers.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Press Apple and the letter "D" at the same time to save a certain website as a bookmark for viewing later. Name the page with a brief description that you can easily recognize. Add pages continuously and in no particular order.

  2. Step 2

Open the "Organize Bookmarks" option under the "Bookmarks" tab. Create category folders, such as travel or jobs, to group certain Web pages by clicking on the "New Folder" icon at the top of the toolbar.

  3. Step 3

Drag and drop pages into the folders using your mouse. Put pages within the folder in whatever order you choose. Select multiple pages to move into a folder by holding down the Ctrl button while selecting pages from the master list.

  4. Step 4

Arrange the folders according to your preference. Add bookmarks from another Internet browser by going to "Bookmarks Manager," then click "File" and "Import." Export bookmarks using a similar method.

  5. Step 5

Return to the "Bookmarks Manager" tool to rename, move or delete pages from your bookmark records. Check your list periodically to update when links no longer work or you no longer visit those websites.

Tips & Warnings
