Things You'll Need:
- Image editing software
-
Step 1
Open your image in your image editing software. MVP Baseball uses files at 1024 by 1024 pixels so the larger the image the better. If you must use a smaller image, avoid anything smaller than 800 pixels wide because the quality degrades the more you enlarge the image.
-
Step 2
Scale the image to 1024 by 1024 pixels. You can crop the image to the square dimensions before you scale, or uncheck the "Constrain Proportions" option when you resize the image (the command name will differ depending on your software).
-
Step 3
Open a CTS template image to overlay onto your image (if you don't want the template, skip this step). Copy it to a new layer above your image and scale it to fit your image. Convert the white to transparent by setting the layer blend mode to "Multiply." The graphic will now float over your background image.
-
Step 4
Flatten your image and save as a JPG, BMP or TGA file. Move or copy the file to the folder "data:frontends:bkgnds" in your MVP Baseball game folder.
-
Step 5
Launch EAGraph and choose the "Open" command. Navigate to the "bkgnds" folder and scroll through the files with the ".fsh" extension. Select "58bd.fsh" and click on the "+" sign. Click on 58bd to load the current CTS screen.
-
Step 6
Select "Import Wizard" from the Tools menu to locate your custom screen. When the new window opens select "Import an Existing External File into the Current Open Image" and click next. Select "Browse" to locate your file.
-
Step 7
Choose "Open" and then "Next" to load your file. The Import Wizard will swap the custom image for the current image. Select "Finished" to close the Import Wizard. Click on "58bd" to see your imported file.
