You can make beautiful flowers for any party or special occasion without going to the flower shop and for a fraction of the cost.

Anything from a single flower to a bouquet; or even fantastic centerpieces.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Box of tissue paper (or crepe paper)
  • Green pipe cleaners (or twist ties)
  • Fragrance spray (optional)
  1. Step 1

Pull 3 tissues from tissue box (or cut 4-6 pieces of crepe paper approximately 8 x 10 inches).

  2. Step 2

Put the papers on top of each other in a pile.

  3. Step 3

Starting at edge of paper (facing you) with thumb and index finger of each hand make a fold (crease), approximately 1/4 inch wide.

  4. Step 4

Keep a hold of the fold you just made, flip the paper upside down and make another on top of the first one (same width; mirror image). Continue making folds (flipping after each fold) until you come to the other edge of paper and can no longer make any folds. The end result will look like an accordion.

  5. Step 5

When finished pinch the middle of the paper with your thumb and index finger to maintain the accordion-like shape and secure it with a green pipe cleaner (or twist tie).

  6. Step 6

Gently pull each piece of paper (seperating each sheet of paper from the others) one at a time towards the top center of the flower. This process forms the petals.

  7. Step 7

Congratulations! You have completed your first flower and can now add a quick spray of fragrance if you'd care to. You just want to have a mild hint of the scent; don't overpower it.

Your imagination is your only limitation on what you want to create with these lovelies.
