Cleaning Fake Pearls is very easy if you follow my instructions.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A large dishwashing sponge
  • Warm water
  • Dish soap
  1. Step 1

Wet the large sponge with warm water.

  2. Step 2

Add a dab of dishsoap to the sponge. Squeeze the sponge til it is all foamy & soapy.

  3. Step 3

Fold the soapy sponge in half over the pearls, and slide the sponge up and down the entire length of the pearls. Back & forth a couple times . The pearls are being rubbed gently as you go back & forth.

  4. Step 4

Rinse the pearls under cool water til they have no more soap on them. Lay on a hand towel to dry. Voila! clean Pearls.

Tips & Warnings
  • Do not rub too hard, as some pearls might lose pieces of the pearl-like coating.
  • Do not use an abrasive scrubber. You'll lose the finish of the fake pearls completely.
