How to get rid of fleas on your dog

A cheap and easy way to rid your dog of fleas.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 4 oz. 3% hydrogen peroxide
  • 12 oz. water
  • plastic spray bottle
  1. Step 1

    Pour the peroxide and water into spray bottle.

  2. Step 2

    Spray pet thoroughly, keeping away from the eyes.

  3. Step 3

    Once pet is damp, allow the mixture to sit for 5 minutes. Dry thoroughly with a clean towel.

Tips & Warnings
  • To make a dip, use one part peroxide to three parts water.
  • It won't hurt your pet to lick himself as long as you towel dry well.
  • Don't use a hair dryer on your pet with this as lightening of the hair could occur.
  • Don't allow your pet to drink the mixture.
  • If your pet has sensitive skin, do a patch test by rubbing a little of the mixture onto his belly and waiting 24 hours.
  • Please speak to your vet before using on your cat or kittens under 6 months.
  • Do not use on puppies younger than 8 weeks old.

on 7/9/2009 Does any one know if the peroxide and water really kill the fleas? I have a 12 week old puppy.
