Austin's thriving music scene and friendly vibe make the city an ideal destination for the trendy set. To accommodate the hipster crowd, numerous boutique hotels have popped up offering an alternative to the same old experience provided by traditional chain hotels.-No matter how hot the Texas sun is during your trip to Austin, you can still feel cool by booking a stay at one of the state capital's most sought after boutique hotels.

  1. Step 1

    Book your accommodations by contacting the Austin Convention and Visitors Bureau at (800) 926-ACVB, or by visiting their website (see Resources below).

  2. Step 2

    Find a room in the trendy South Congress district, which is home to dozens of unique shops and restaurants, as well as the Capitol Building. The San Jose Hotel is a favorite of many Austin tourists.

  3. Step 3

    Look for a luxury boutique hotel in the downtown district of town and stay close to music and arts attractions such as the Austin Museum of Art. The Driskill Hotel is a popular boutique option worth considering.
