In February 2009 all analog television broadcast will go digital. Digital broadcast will change television as we know it now. The broadcast will be much sharper, clearer, and virtually interference free. If you do not own a newer model television(HDTV) which handles the new digital signal you might be wondering if your old analog television will handle the transition. There is no need to worry. Your old analog television set will still receive the new digital signal if you acquire a digital converter box that will enable your old analog television to accept the new digital broadcast. Also note: your analog DVD, VCR recorders will need the converter box to accept the digital signal also. If you are a cable or satellite customer you probably already have a set top box that receives digital signals. Contact your cable or satellite provider for more information. Here’s how to get ready for the new digital age.
