Things You'll Need:
- computer
- internet access
- myspace account(optional)
-
Step 1
If you just want to listen to radio like music where each song is a different artist or genre then you can go to MTV.com or VH1.com. Both web sites has a radio link where you can listen to different "radio" stations. Each "station" is compiled of music from a certain genre, type of artist or other category. I love to go to VH1 and listen to the 90s music. It takes me back to my teenage years! All you have to do is click on the music links on each web page and find the appropriate link. You can watch videos of your favorite artists as well.
-
Step 2
Another option, which is my favorite, is to download a music player to your myspace page. You do have to have a myspace account to do this. All you do is go to myspace.com and signup. Then go to a music player site, my favorite is Hypster.com. Sign up for hypster account and then begin adding the songs you want on your player. I currently have about 30 to 40 songs on my player. You can add songs at any time and remove them as well. the easiest way to add music is to sign in to your hypster account and then click on the search button to the left. This way you can search by artist or song. Then once you have found your song click the add to play list button and the song will be added to your list. You can listen to it then as well to make sure it is the right version.
-
Step 3
You can also rearrange your tracks in the order you want to listen to them in which is a great feature. When you are done adding songs, you then must copy the code and add it to your myspace page. you can copy the automatic play version or the non playing version. The non playing one has to be started manually and the automatic play version will begin once you open your page. You copy the code into the edit profile section of your myspace page.
-
Step 4
To do the above, click on the edit profile button and paste the code in a section that you can remember. That way you can remove it when you like. Now go and listen to your music and enjoy!

on 6/30/2008 Great ideas, neat idea for an article! I use slacker.com, it's pretty good too. But my teenage years were the 80's, ugg.
