Mexican Wedding Cakes are little cookies coated in powdered sugar. Soon to become a favorite! Enjoy this simple recipe.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    INGREDIENTS:

    1 cup butter, softened (no substitutes)
    2 cups all-purpose flour
    1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
    3/4 cup powdered sugar
    1 teaspoon vanilla

  2. Step 2

    In a mixing bowl combine butter, flour, nuts, powdered sugar and vanilla. Mix well. Roll dough into small balls and place on baking sheet sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Bake at 325 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.

  3. Step 3

    Remove from oven and immediately roll in additional powdered sugar while hot. Roll in powdered sugar again when cooled. Enjoy!

  • Store cookies in an air tight container.
