How to rip a DVD disc with Any DVD Converter Pro

Use Any DVD Converter Pro to rip a DVD video disc to other video formats that can be played on your iPod, iPhone, PSP, Zune or mobile phones.

Things You'll Need:

• Any DVD Converter Pro
• DVD Video Disc
• DVD-ROM

1. 
   Interface of Any DVD Converter Pro

   Download Any DVD Converter Pro from http://www.any-video-converter.com and install it. Here is the interface of the program.

2. Run Any DVD Converter Pro, insert the DVD video disc to the DVD-ROM. Generally speaking, content of the DVD will be automatically added to the program as titles, the main content will be checked. Or you can manually click "Open DVD" button to add the DVD. If you don't want the DVD to be converted as titles, you can click options button in the lower left and select DVD tab, and check "do not seperate a DVD video disc as titles", then the entire DVD will be converted into one file.

3. Select the output format you need. MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, WMV, AVI, FLV, 3GP video can be generated from the DVD video disc. Also, mp4 movie for iPod, iPhone, PSP, Zune and mobile phones will also be available. You can also extract audio from DVD and save as mp3, ogg and wav audio files.

4. Make any settings you want. Generally speaking, default settings will be good enough. You can trim the part you need, or specify start time and stop time, also you can set video codec, bitrate, audio bitrate and so on. Unfold "DVD options", you can specify chapters, angle and select audio language and subtitle you want.

5. Click "encode" button to start encoding. Conversion speed will be fast and the output quality will be excellent.

Tips & Warnings

• Click "edit --> options" and you can find some more useful options.
• The conversion speed depends on your hardware configuration, the movie length and the video and audio settings.
• The program will show abbreviation for audio language. Normally, En is short for English, De is Deutsch, Fr is French, It is Italian, Es is Spanish, Pt is Portuguese, Cn is Chinese, Jp is Japanese.
• Copyright protected DVD can't be converted by Any DVD Converter Pro, however, you can use DVDdecrypter to decrypt and then convert the VOB files.
• Any DVD Converter Pro can also convert all kinds of video formats and merge mutiple files into one.

I has been used Any Video Converter free version for a long time, and its interface is like this one. This DVD edition is more powerful than the free version, ;) it can rip DVDs, with subtitle and language options, very considerate.
