Through the ages of time, man has had difficulty trusting God. And that is understandable from a human point of view, because no one can see God. And to most humans, whatever they cannot see does not appear to be real. So trusting God is a matter of making Him real in your life. When you arrive at the end of the Tips and Warnings section, that is the end of this article, but please continue on to check out the Resources that I have posted. There are four awesome music videos, both gospel and rock and classic songs. If you really want to trust God, you will take the few minutes it takes to see these awesome videos. (They are not religious, but they might be considered spiritual).

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Faith
  • Bible
  • Willingness to trust
  • Radio station WFME 94.7
  • Christian Music
  • Carman's CD or music
  • Prayer --because prayer always changes things for the better. It might take some time, but it always changes things for the better.

Step1
He is the One in charge of every blade of grass in our world. And we are so much more important to Him than grass is. Know what God is like by reading the New Testament of the Holy Bible. If the King James version is too difficult or too uncomfortable to understand or read, then borrow a different one and begin there.

No matter whom you are or where you come from, trusting God is a choice. A lot of us never realize that. Sometimes you can pick up your family's attitude about God; sometimes you pick up your school's or your workplace's attitude about God, but the bottom line is that we all need to make our own choices when it comes to believing in God or not.

In my world ,there is only one choice; I believe in Jesus Christ; I believe in the Holy Bible, and I believe what the Holy Bible tells me is true. That is it.

Once you read the New Testament you will realize that Jesus is a God that we can and should trust.
Step2
Trust in God and all that He blesses. Believe in the power of God, from history, from where you came from and from all the miraculous things that happen in the world. Know that God promises to be there by your side, no matter what.

That means, He is standing by the side of an atheist somewhere just waiting for the moment that he or she believes. Know that on September 11th, God was sheltering, hiding and protecting so many humans on that day that no one even was able to count the number of individuals who were spared that day, what they would say --due to "chance".

Knowing God and believing God believing that He does what He says He will do, that should be enough reason for you to trust Him.
Step3
Remember the words to the song, that Carman sings. "This is my Bible! I am what it says I am; I do what it says I do; This is my Bible!

Having a faith as strong as the faith described in Carman's song, that is the way to trust God. Trust Him unconditionally, no matter what. Trust Him not matter what happens or no matter what does not happen.

Just do it!

Tips & Warnings

  • Just do it. Like you trust everything else in your world (that you do trust) Just trust God.
  • Have things around you in your world to remind you that you are trusting. Perhaps a coffee mug with a Bible phrase on it, or a trinket with a quote from the Bible on it.
  • Read something every single morning from the Holy Bible.
  • Know that you can actually be too busy or too stressed so that you can forget to trust. That is why it is necessary to have reminders around you.
  • Know that there are cults out there that will lead you to believe that they are religions. Be leary of that. Most times, a cult will tell you that you need to keep isolated from your family or that your new family is their church. This is a red flag! Most times they will actually physically take you to an isolated place where your family and friends are not welcome (unless they are believers in that particular cult). And most times, there will be people watching over you--to make sure that you do not escape the cult. Sure, they will call these people brothers and sisters, but in reality they do the job as security to make sure that you remain on the premises and make sure you have no contact with the outside world or with your family and friends. Most times you will be demanded that you give up your worldly clothing and dress in a particular uniform -- that takes away your individuality. Most true religions that are truly spiritual do n ot have uniforms or standard forms of dressing.
  • In a true religion, you are accepted as God accepts you--whether you are in jeans, t-shirts or a gown, you are acceptable as a child of God.
  • For more information about cults, do a search on any search engine.
