Would you like to impress some overnight guests with breakfast? This sounds quite impressive, but is very easy.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • 8 slices French bread ( 1 1/2 inch thick)
  • 5 eggs
  • 3/4 cup half n half
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 5 cups frozen strawberries (not packed)
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Step1
MIX eggs, milk and vanilla.
Step2
DIP each slice of bread in egg mixture for 30 seconds on each side.
Step3
PLACE each dipped slice of bread on baking sheet to absorb the egg, for about 10 minutes.
Step4
GREASE large glass baking dish.

SPREAD frozen strawberries evenly.
Step5
MIX sugar and cinnamon - pour half of this over the berries.

PLACE bread over the strawberries.

SPRINKLE sugar and cinnamon over the bread.
Step6
BAKE at 450 for 15 minutes, or until the French toast is golden brown.

SERVE with a spatula, and spoon berries on top.

Tips & Warnings

  • Substitutes any berries in place of strawberries.
  • If your guests stay for more than 4 nights, quit serving this delicious recipe.
