How to Crochet an Easter Egg Display Stand

Crocheting a stand for your Easter egg is easy with my free pattern!

Difficulty: Easy

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• 1/2 oz worsted weight yarn
• Size H crochet hook
• Plastic Easter egg

1. 
   Easter Egg Display Stand

   Size: 1 1/2" tall
   Gauge: 2 rounds of dc=1"
   
   Rnd 1: Make ring (or ch 4, join w sl st in 1st ch to form ring. I prefer the "magic ring" method), ch 3, 11 dc in ring, join w sl st in top of ch 3 (12 dc).

2. Rnd 2: (Work this round in back loops only!). Ch 3, dc in same dc, 2 dc in next dc and in each dc around, join as before, fasten off (24 dc).

3. Rnd 3: (Work this round in free front loops between Rnds 1 and 2!). Join yarn w sl st in 1st dc, ch 3, 2 dc in next dc, *dc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc, rep from *around, join as before (18 dc).

4. 
   Easter Egg Display Stand

   Ch 3, turn, dc in each dc around, join as before, fasten off (18 dc).

5. Weave in ends.

6. Place egg in stand.

7. Enjoy!

Tips & Warnings
