When your castiron skillet gets grimy from grease, food will tend to stick to it, and scouring pads can make the sticking worse. Read on to find out how to scour your castiron skillet effectively.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 3 tbsp. salt
  • Paper towel
  1. Step 1

    Pour salt into skillet.

  2. Step 2

    Dampen the paper towel.

  3. Step 3

    Scour skillet with the damp paper towel, making sure to move the salt around all the sticky parts.

  4. Step 4

    Rinse thoroughly and repeat the process if necessary.
