How to make a fantastic and refreshing key lime martini.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Cocktail Shaker
  • Chilled Martini Glass
  • Ice
  • Sods Water
  • Vanilla Vodka
  • Coconut Rum
  • Pineapple Juice
  • Lime Juice
  • Half n' Half Cream
  • Lime and Paper Umbrella
  1. Step 1

Grab your martini glass fill it with ice and soda water. This will chill the glass perfectly as you create the cocktail.

  2. Step 2

Next, take your cocktail shaker and add 1.5 ounces each of Vanilla Vodka and Coconut Rum, 0.5 ounces each of Lime Juice and Pineapple Juice and then add about .25 ounces of Half n' Half Cream.

  3. Step 3

Now add ice to your cocktail shaker until full and shake steadily for about 1 minute to fully mix all of the ingredients.

  4. Step 4

Dump out the ice and soda water from the martini glass and pour in the Key Lime Martini concoction from the cocktail shaker.

  5. Step 5

Garnish with a lime wedge and a paper umbrella.

Tips & Warnings
  • Do not allow any ice to be in the martini glass once the glass is chilled and the drink is poured into the glass.
  • For a bit of added sweetness some people may elect to lightly coat the rim of the martini glass with sugar after it is chilled and before the drink is poured in.
  • Only use half n' half cream and be very careful not to use more than indicated.
  • Be careful not to use more than the indicated amount of lime juice.
  • Make sure to completely dump out all of the ice and soda water before pouring in the alcohol.
