This is a killer recipe. I have been developing it for some time now and I am going to give my secret. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 Large bottle of good ketchup
  • 1 Large onion
  • Garlic powder
  • brown sugar
  • Yellow mustard
  • Black pepper (ground)
  • Salt
  • Oregano
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  1. Step 1

In a large pot combine Whole bottle of ketchup, onion diced fine, 2 Tbs. garlic powder, 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1 tsp. black pepper, 1tsp. salt, 2 cups of chicken broth, 1 Tbs yellow mustard and 1 tsp. oregano.

  2. Step 2

Bring contents to a low boil and reduce heat to simmer. Allow to simmer for about 2 hours stirring every 15 - 20 mins. This is to reduce the sauce by 1/3.

  3. Step 3

Turn off heat and cover. Allow to come to room temp. and serve or put in the refrigerator. Now you have some awesome BBQ sauce to serve on anything.
