Step 1
Wine RackWal-Mart Wine Rack
I use a $ 6.92 wine rack from wal-mart as my sprouter. I have tried many different sprouting methods, but with this one I feel I grow more sprouts in less space and is very easy to take care of. I hope this gives you ideas. You don't have to use the same materials, you might even find a better one in a second hand store. Just remember you saw this idea.
NOTE: As you can see I don't feel the need to keep my sprouting jars at a forty five degree angle. There is one draw back with the lid assembly I use, you have to spend a few more seconds to remove the water from each jar, also you have to twist the jar a little to get the water that catches in the lid grove out. If you don't want to have to worry about this just use a nylon screen as a jar cover. -

Sprouting JarMy Sprouting Jar
This is what my individual sprouting jars look like. I use one quart Mason jars. I get them for $.10 to $.49 a peice at second hand stores. You might want to talk to your neighbors, they may have a ton in their basement, that they aren't using anymore and they might be glad to give you some just to get rid of them. You will need six quart jars, with some type of lid assembly. If you are interested in how I made my lid assemblies for my sprouter go here.
NOTE: I use a lot of quart mason jars in our pantry to store a lot of my raw dry goods. -

If you watch out you might find a wine rack that even tips the jars at a slight angle. What I really liked about this one was its simple chrome look. -
