How to Add Freon to a Window Air Conditiner Unit if you are not a good handyman i would not try to do this

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Things You’ll Need:

• Wrench
• Freon pressure gauge.
• Small can R22, may be hard to find in small cans.
• May need converter kit.

1. Step1You can add Freon to the low side of your a/c.
2. When the gauges are attached to the system, you can use the third hose to attach to the Freon can. Make sure you leave the can upright so as to add only the gas.
3. REMEMBER: Don't turn the Freon can upside down to add liquid as this can lock up the compressor
4. and there you go

Tips & Warnings

• this will take a little bit of time have some time set aside
• Freon may be hard to obtain!
• Don't turn can upside down!
• For protection wear a face regulator to breathe.
