3. In case you still have more items to carry, evaluate this - will it be cheaper to go to the destination and buy them? One trip to the department store might be all it takes.

4. Now, if you have more bags to carry, fully evaluate what it will cost to have the baggage shipped to your destination. This is not free, but it has its advantages - you can skip the cab back and forth to the airport both ways, and take public transit. And the bags will be waiting for you in your accomodation when you get there - SWEET.
