Can't seem to get rid of the fat on your thighs no matter how many hours you spend on that tready? Want to know the secret behind sexy lean thighs? Here it is! Your body adapts to the way you use it. Spending hours on the treadmill is the perfect way to make your thighs fat generating machines. That's Right! Because you're training your body to burn fat as a fuel everyday... well guess what? If you do this your body adapts by INCREASING fat stores to where you need it most. (your thighs and your butt to power your legs for that 45 minute run) How do you stop this process? Just take the following steps!

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Things You’ll Need:

Step1
Cease all of your aerobic exercises (jogging, treadmills, ellipticals, tennis, cycling, swimming, ... anything where you could continue to talk comfortably while exercising)
Step2
Begin doing anaerobic exercises (weight lifting, sprinting, etc.)
Step3
Train your thighs & butt by doing the following sprint drills:

Run at top speed for 15 seconds
Walk (recover) for 30 seconds
Repeat 10 times

Repeat up to 3 times a week, with a minimum of 1 day of rest in between workout.
Step4
Make an effort to include protein in every meal.

Tips & Warnings

  • you may also do the sprinting drill in the pool if you know how to swim quickly
  • If you feel dizzy, nauseated, or off balance you may increase your rest period until you are ready.

on 8/24/2008 I asked why stop aerobic activity because I am unfamiliar with this method. I am not a trainer and I was wondering why stopping aerobic activity helps tone up those thighs (which I'd like to do). Look forward to hearing more on this interesting topic.
