Pressure Points on the Body.
Pressure Points on the Body.

Finding sensual pressure points can help relieve tension and be relaxing. The key to finding pressure points is to listen to your partner. Although common pressure points exist throughout the body, not all people have the same reactions and feelings.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • a quiet room
  • a partner
  • some lotion
  1. Step 1

The most commonly found places where tension exists is in the neck, around the shoulders, and parts of the back. The shoulders is a good place to begin. Gently rub lotion into your hands and press down upon the shoulders. With flat palms and fingers together, move your hands from bottom to top on your partner's back and slowly move out across the shoulders.

  2. Step 2

To find sensual pressure points on a neck, simply message the neck in gently circles across the upper neck and near the ears.

  3. Step 3

Pressure points can also be found on the thigh. Gently massage this area with both hands. You can either use small circles, or move up and down slowly as with the pressure points on the back.

  4. Step 4

The hands are a good place to find pressure points. Gently massage this area at the wound of the hand, right near the wrist.

  5. Step 5

Experiment. Pressure points exist all throughout the body.

Tips & Warnings
  • Try playing music or using scented lotion. The combination of the two can help aide in relaxation.

on 7/1/2008 It was a good article, written as a chiropractor guideline, I'm not sure if pressure points are the same as (sensual pressure points.) I realize that once the tension is released through method of massage, that your partner is more relaxed, but are they turned on? In my opinion, sensual is a turn on.
