Get a copy of your past due bill from the electric company. Call your local community action center or the family crisis center in your town and ask them if they can help you at all.

Call all local churches in your town as well as schools. Some churches require you to attend a service but it is worth it. Some schools require you to have kids in the school.

Go online to www.modestneeds.org and fill out an application and also search other online help centers.
Step4
If none of this works go to the electric company and make an agreement with them to pay your bill on a weekly basis till you have it paid off.
