How to Format a Title Paragraph for Premiere Pro

The Adobe Premiere Pro program has very handy title creation tool. Titles are also known as credits, and can include any type of text, including title of your movie, names of your actors and crew, and even subtitles. They can be created using any font available on your computer, and you can add logos, photos and other graphics to customize your movie. Here are some ways you can adjust the longer titles, such as sentences and paragraphs, to achieve various effects.

Step1
Open Premiere Pro and your project with the edited sequence of video clips.
Step2
Create a new title, or double click on an existing title in your Project Panel window to open the "Title Editor" window. To create a new title, go to the "File" menu at the top of your workspace and select “New” then “Title.” Type a name and click "OK."

Select a paragraph of text using the "Selection" tool from the toolbox, and then go to the top of the "Title" editing panel.

Locate the alignment tools. They are the same as alignment tools used in Microsoft Office World. To align text to the left, click the “Left” alignment tool; to center, click on the “Center” alignment tool; and to align text to the right, click on the “Right” alignment tool.

Select a paragraph of text using the "Selection" tool to reflow paragraph text. The text box will appear around the text. Drag any edge point to re-size the box. The text will responding accordingly
Step6
Adjust the tab stops by going to the "Title" menu at the top of your workspace and then to "Tab Stops." A pop up window will open with a ruler.
Step7
Select one of the arrows accordingly--"Left Justify," "Center Justify" or "Right Justify."
Step8
Click on the tab ruler above the number area to create a tab. As you drag with your mouse you will see the tab stopper adjust its position. Click "OK" when finished to close the "Tab Stops" dialog box.
