Instructions

    • 1

Start wrapping your ankle before you begin playing or exercising.

    • 2

Use an athletic bandage or athletic tape to keep your ankle protected.

    • 3

Make a figure 8 with your bandage, wrapping around your ankle, then under the arch of your foot.

    • 4

Fasten the bandage when you are comfortable with the strength of the wrapping.

Tips & Warnings

  • Use the proper gear, especially when it comes to shoes. The right shoes can help to protect your ankles from the strains of your sport.

  • Do not continue to work out or play after you have injured your ankle, especially if it is already weak. Follow RICE (rest, ice, compress, and elevate).
