Angel seashell refrigerator magnets bring beauty to any refrigerator. These are simple to make and perfect for little gifts or to sell at holiday bazaars. Anyone who collects angels will love these little refrigerator magnets.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Clamshell or any type of shell that is smooth on one side
  • Wooden wings or small-elongated hearts to use as wings
  • Wooden small bead with a face painted on it
  • Small gold or silver wedding ring favors sold in the craft department.
  • Thin ribbon
  • Small bead
  • ½-inch diameter circle magnet
  • Hot glue gun and glue sticks
  1. Step 1

Purchase the items at your local craft or department store. You may also use real seashells if the beach is nearby and they are clean. If you cannot locate the small wooden beads, which has a face painted, you can use a thin paintbrush and add your own face.

  2. Step 2

Heat the glue gun as you lay out the supplies. Turn the shell upside down and glue on the head, and allow it to adhere before gluing on the wings. Sometimes small-elongated hearts can double as the angel wings.

  3. Step 3

Thread the small bead on the thin piece of ribbon, so that it hangs like a pendant. Do not tie the end of the ribbon; instead, glue one edge of the ribbon on the wing near the angel’s head. Glue the other piece of the ribbon to the right side of her head.

  4. Step 4

Attach the small gold or silver wedding ring favor on top of the bead to appear as if your angel has a halo. Allow this to dry completely before you move the angel to the refrigerator.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can mass-produce these angels, but first gluing on a head on each seashell, and building them equally as you move along.
  • The colors of the ribbon can match the kitchen, birthstone color or simply a favorite color.
