Microsoft Works calendar creator is a great asset. You can use the Works calendar to track all of your appointments, business meetings, birthdays, anniversaries, bills and any thing else you need. Once you have all of your details inserted in your Works calendar, you can print a daily, weekly or monthly schedule also. If you know how to use a Microsoft Works calendar, you can do a lot with it. The following steps detail how you easily can.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Computer
  • Microsoft Works
  • Printer
  • Paper
  1. Step 1

Set up your Microsoft Works calendar. Open the Works program by selecting “Start”, “Programs” and then “Microsoft Works Task Launcher” and click on “Calendar”. If you have already created a Works calendar, it will open. If you have not created one, you will have to fill in all of the information for your calendar. You can do this by selecting any day and either double-clicking on it or right clicking and then selecting “New Appointment”. The New Appointment box will open for you to fill in all of the details pertaining to your appointment.

  2. Step 2

Create appointments or reminders for the entire year (or more). You can easily move from month to month (and for several years) on your Microsoft Works calendar by clicking on “Edit” and then selecting “Go To”. You will then have the options of “Date”, which allows you to enter a specific month, day and year. You could select “Previous Month” or “Next Month” from the Edit menu or they are also available on the top of the calendar itself.

  3. Step 3

Make Changes to your Microsoft Works calendar. Any time you want to change an appointment on your calendar, simply right click on it and the “Edit Appointment” box will open to allow you to change it. If the appointment is a reoccurring one, you will have the option to change just this particular one only or the complete series of appointments. You can also select “Delete Item” if need to remove it.

  4. Step 4

Print a daily, weekly or monthly schedule. Any time you would like a printed copy of your calendar, you can either print a daily, weekly or monthly copy of it. This can be done by selecting either the print icon on the calendar itself or by selecting “File” and then “Print…”. Once the Print box appears you can even narrow down your daily schedule to be printed by appointments, hours, lists or sections.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can easily send your calendar (either daily, weekly or monthly) by email by selecting “File” and then “Send”. You could also import a calendar or export one under the File options.
