How to Play the Mr. Bush Drinking Game
Developed by two college students in 2002, the State of the Union Drinking Game (also known as Mr. Bush Drinking Game) has exploded into a favorite. Certain things the President says or does during the Address are given a number of drinks or shots to take each time they occur within the address. This could be dangerous depending on the content of the speech, so be careful.

The original game suggests you go to the bar and watch the State of the Union there. You will spend lots of money if you follow the rules down to the suggested drinks at the bar. So, if you want to save money, and spare the hassle of finding a designated driver, stock up on plenty of beer, liquor, or both.

Prepare your drinking glasses, and keep the bottle on hand for refills. If drinking beer, stock the cooler, and keep the bottle opener handy.

Take ONE drink anytime these things are said or done:"The State of our Union is strong..." Get a copy of the rules, or make your own so that you can keep track of what the drinking words and/or actions are. The more intoxicated you become the less likely you are to remember all of them!

Though this is meant to be a game played when the Address airs live, if you can find it online you can play the game any other night of the year!

If following the rules exactly, you could become severely intoxicated very quickly; so remember to have a designated driver on hand.
