Download the Deskscapes or DreamMaker program from the Dream WinCustomize website. Deskscapes is a program that allows you to run the animated wallpapers on your computer, while DreamMaker lets you create your own animated wallpapers. Alternatively you can get the Dreamscape update from your Windows updater.

Click Run from the options that appear on your computer screen to successfully download the program onto your computer. Follow the prompts when given and continue to click OK until the program is finished downloading.

Look online to get an idea on the type of animated wallpapers you can download onto your computer. You’ll find a variety of websites with these wallpapers, including the website mentioned here. Then it’s simply a matter of picking one for your computer.

Select the Download option when you find an available wallpaper image that you like. This will take you to a new page where you’ll need to push download again. Select a location where you’d like to save the file and let it finish saving to your computer.

Use your mouse to right click on the file once it finishes downloading. From the options you’re given, choose “set as background.” Close out all of your files and your new background should be the animated wallpaper you downloaded and selected earlier.

Tips & Warnings
To see if you have the Dreamscape update on your computer, go to your Control Panel and click the option labeled “Check for Updates”. If you can download Dreamscape onto your computer, it will be listed as a possible update. If it isn’t, you’ll need to download one of the other programs.
If you download DreamMaker onto your computer, be aware that it can take quite a bit of time to create your own animated wallpaper, sometimes days or even weeks.
