A great way to build your stock-trading business or advertise your services is to make an online stock-trading newsletter. Whatever your purpose for creating this newsletter, you should make every effort to ensure that the project is a raving success.

Things You'll Need:

  • Online stock-trading software
  • Auto-responder service for delivery
  1. Step 1

Establish goals for your online stock-trading newsletter. How often do you want to send it out? How are you going to deliver it? What is it going to include? What sort of format will you deliver it in? These are all important questions that should be answered before moving a single step further.

  2. Step 2

Research data and information that you feel is important to include in your newsletter. If you have gone to the trouble to make a monthly online stock-trading newsletter, you may want to make it longer and ensure that it is packed with useful and educational information. If your newsletter will be sent out weekly or daily, you should entertain a policy of "less is more" and keep it short and sweet but make every sentence count.

  3. Step 3

Advertise for subscribers. It doesn't matter how great your newsletter is or how much time and effort you put into making it an excellent resource for online traders if no one knows it's out there. You need to aggressively advertise your newsletter so that you can get the subscribers you need to make it a real success.

  4. Step 4

Generate revenue by attracting advertisers once you have a decent subscription rate. Of course, if you have your own products to sell, you won't want the competition, but most people make an online stock-trading newsletter for the purpose of making money down the road. Be sure that you are concentrating some effort on monetizing your newsletter.

Tips & Warnings
  • Stick with the format you originally offered to your subscribers (daily, weekly or monthly) unless you have an extremely important reason to change it, or you risk breaking trust with your subscribers.
  • Offer content that is consistently helpful and informative, or the subscribers you worked so hard to find will leave.
