How to Avoid Getting Freckles

Freckles are caused by the sun and develop most often on fair skin.

• Sunglasses
• Wide-brimmed Hats
• Bleach/lightening Treatments
• Sunscreen

1. Use sunscreen with complete UV block whenever you go out.
2. Try sunscreens that contain parasol.
3. Reapply sunscreen frequently throughout the day.
4. Minimize exposure to the sun between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., when the sun's rays are strongest.
5. Wear a wide-brimmed hat and sunglasses if you're going to be in the sun for an extended time.
6. Avoid sunbathing and tanning booths.
