Freckles are caused by the sun and develop most often on fair skin.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

    Use sunscreen with complete UV block whenever you go out.

  2. Step 2

    Try sunscreens that contain parasol.

  3. Step 3

    Reapply sunscreen frequently throughout the day.

  4. Step 4

    Minimize exposure to the sun between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., when the sun's rays are strongest.

  5. Step 5

    Wear a wide-brimmed hat and sunglasses if you're going to be in the sun for an extended time.

  6. Step 6

    Avoid sunbathing and tanning booths.

Tips & Warnings
  • Freckles usually fade in the winter, when the sun's rays are weakest.

on 11/22/2005 Freckles (and lots of them) are common to some complexions. While you should avoid sun damage, you should also be at peace with your natural complexion. I always liked referring to freckles as angel kisses, if anyone should poke fun at them.
