Bridal showers are always fun, no matter what. If you want to have the fun of a bridal shower while remembering to be kind to the environment, you can throw an eco-friendly bridal shower!

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Soy-based inks
  • Natural papers
  • Organic cotton fabrics
  • Twine
  • Fresh or dried flowers
  • Organic or vegetarian food
  • Favors such as seed bags, soy candles, lavender sachets or tree saplings
  1. Step 1

Make your invitations eco-friendly by using soy-based inks and natural papers. Better yet, cut down on waste by having graphics designed for use in a formal email invitation!

  2. Step 2

Use fresh, clean eco-friendly decor. Try organic cotton fabrics, for instance. Tie your napkins with twine. Use fresh or dried flowers, and various natural items for your other decor elements. Or, throw the party outside and let nature be your decorator.

  3. Step 3

Choose organic or vegetarian food to continue with the theme. You don't have to announce this to your guests (who may not like this idea, and anyway won't know).

  4. Step 4

Made or buy eco-friendly favors as well. Try seed bags (make sure the bag is eco-friendly, too), soy candles, lavender sachets or tree saplings as favors.
