Things You'll Need:
- Small saucepan
- 1 bar of glycerin soap, 4oz.
- 1 teaspoon of ground espresso
- 1 teaspoon of powdered milk
- 10 drops coffee fragrance oil
- Plastic soap mold in shape/style of your choice
- Decorative Wrapping paper
-
Step 1
Place the glycerin bar in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir gently until the glycerin soap is completely melted. Do not bring the mixture to a boil when melting the glycerin on the stove.
-
Step 2
Remove it from the direct the heat source and stir in some ground espresso, coffee scented oil and the powdered milk.
-
Step 3
Stir all the ingredients carefully, making sure they are completely mixed. Do not allow the mixture to cool in the pot before pouring it into the mold. Pour the contents of the saucepan into your mold and set it aside to set.
-
Step 4
Wrap your soap in the decorative wrapping paper once it has set. Use your imagination when it comes to packaging your bars of soap by choosing from a variety of paper wraps, plastic wraps, baggies, and so much more. The sky (and your budget) really is the limit.
-
Step 5
Create gifts with your homemade soap bars. They make wonderful gifts for dinner parties, gift baskets, and goody bags for showers of any sort. With a personal touch, a little wrapping and twine or bow, you can give someone else the give of friendship right along with letting them know you care.
