How to Cast a Simple Wishing Spell

Many people assume that casting any kind of a spell is a long, complicated process with lots of supplies to buy and hard-to-remember verses to chant. But it doesn’t have to be complicated. Casting a simple wishing spell, in fact, can be as easy as saying a brief prayer. Anyone can cast a spell for any purpose; your intent and strength of your wish is what’s important in summoning universal power to act on your behalf. Follow these simple steps to cast a simple wishing spell and make your dreams come true.

Things You'll Need

• A piece of thin, silver ribbon.
• A "wishing" tree

Instructions

1. Buy a thin strip of silver ribbon from a store. Almost every craft and fabric store carries rolls of ribbon. For this wishing spell, you will need only a yard or so of ribbon (but it doesn’t hurt to buy more than you need, as you may want to use the excess for other wish castings.)

2. Go outside and look at the trees. If you do not live in the country, take a trip to a nearby park. Choose a tree that seems to “beckon” to you. You may either feel drawn to this tree or just admire its beauty but, in some way, you will feel as if the tree chose you rather than the other way around. This will be your “wishing” tree.

3. Wait for the night of a full moon. Look at a calendar to identify the exact phase of the moon. Though the moon might look full, it may not quite be at its full phase yet. It’s best to look at a calendar for verification. Casting your simple wishing spell during a full moon draws the object of your desire to you.

4. When the moon is full, take approximately one yard of the silver ribbon and stand beneath the branches of your wishing tree. Make your wish, either silently or aloud, and tie your ribbon around one of the branches of your wishing tree.

5. Gently rub the trunk of the tree and gaze at the ribbon, giving thanks that your wish is being granted. Stay under the tree until you feel that your desire has taken “root,” and will soon grow into fulfillment.

6. Wait. By the time of the next full moon, your wish should be granted.
