Step 1
Open the application. You will need to left-click on the Yahoo Sitebuilder application icon in order to load up the application.

Load the site and page you wish to add custom contact forms to. In order to load the website and pages that you wish to add the custom contact form to you will need to left-click on the “File” tab on the command bar; a submenu will open. Scroll to “Open Site” and open the desired website and pages.

Create a custom contact form and set the properties. Once you have the page/s that you want to add the contact form to open, scroll to the “Insert” tab on the command bar; a submenu will open. Scroll to “Forms and Forms Elements”; a submenu will open. Scroll to “Contact us Form” and left-click. This will insert a generic contact form onto the page. You can add or remove fields as wanted simply by left-clicking on “Text Field” under “Forms and Forms Elements.” To change the name and function of fields in the form, right-click on the field or form; a submenu will open. Scroll to “Properties” and left-click; fill out the desired functions, change the text name of the field and click “Okay” to apply any changes. To set the functions of the form, where it emails the contact information submitted to and so on, simply right-click on the form box itself; a forms properties box will open. Select the “Forms Settings” tab, and select the desired options.

Publish and test the form to assure it is working properly. To publish the website you will need a web hosting account through Yahoo. Left-click on the “Publish” button on the command bar and select the desired domain that you wish to publish the files to.
