Make a Knotted Fleece Pillow

This is a wonderful project that is perfect for doing with your children. Its fast, and doesn't require sewing. I don't know about you but this is my kind of craft.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A little over 1 yard of polar fleece or other non-fraying fabric
  • 1 pillow form or filling
  • Scissors

    Using a pillow form

  1. Step 1

Lay your form on your fabric to decide the size.

  2. Step 2

Cut out shape that is needed, leaving a 4 inch border for hemming. *Remember that you need two pieces.

  3. Step 3

Using your scissors, cut a fringe around 1/2 inch wide and 4 inches in length all the way around your pillow shape. These will be your pieces that you knot together. Remember to do both pieces.

  4. Step 4

Next you need to close up your pillow. Do this by starting in one corner and tying one fringe from each side of the pillow together into a knot, this will join both sides. Continue to do this till you have knotted up 3 sides.

  5. Step 5

Insert your pillow form and then close up the top of the pillow by finishing off the knots.

  8. Step 2

  10. Step 4

Pull apart your filling to make it fluffy and stuff your pillow.

  11. Step 5

Close up the fourth side and you are finished.
