Freshening up After a Long Flight
-
1
Pack basic toiletries in your carry-on bag or purse. Include breath mints, toothbrush, facial toner, moisturizer, makeup, cologne or perfume and a hairbrush or comb. Also include an extra clean, permanent press (wrinkle-free) shirt in your carry on for a last minute change. No matter how careful you are, your clothes might get soiled during your flight from food or another passenger's mishap.

2
Take a shower and blow dry your hair as close to your departure time as possible. The more recently you've showered and fixed your hair, the easier it will be to look good after a long flight.

Sleep for several hours, or as long as possible, on the flight to ensure you're well rested when you arrive at your destination. However, set an alarm to wake you up at least half an hour before you arrive. You'll need to the time to fully wake up, not look sleepy, and for last-minute grooming.

Tips & Warnings
Ask to be moved if your seat mate snores or in any way disturbs your flight. It's almost impossible to look good after a long flight if you have a miserable experience on the plane.
If you can, include several cucumber slices in a baggie. Add ice cubes to the bag while on the flight, and apply the cuke slices to your eyes before landing.
