Using Picasa Web Albums with a Mac-The Basics

1
Sign in to your Gmail account and access Picasa by clicking "My account" from the iGoogle page, or the "Photos" link from the top (horizontal) menu bar on the Gmail screen.

Click the button for the free download "Download Picasa with Web sharing."

After the download completes, return to that same page (with the download button), and look for the link on the right side that says "Upload." Follow the instructions to create a title and description for your album, to provide a map of the place where your photos were shot, and to choose whether your album will allow public or invitation-only access.

You may upload individual photos from that screen by browsing your files, or you can click the blue text at right that says "Download Mac Uploaders."

If you chose to upload photos from within Picasa Web Albums, your album will appear when you finish. If you prefer to use the Mac uploaders, proceed to the steps below.
