  • 1 pack of fine tip markers
  • 1 tube of glue

    It's Time to Party

  1. Step 1

Take out as many index cards as you need to send out invitations for. This will be the background for the writing. You can choose to use a colored index card to add some diversity.

  2. Step 2

Write on the index card the date, time and place of you Sponge Bob party. Use the non lined side of the index card. For a more unique invitation label the place of the event as the Krusty Krab, just like in the show.

  3. Step 3

Glue the index card strip side down onto the yellow household sponges. Press the card into place until the glue begins to set. Let it dry completely.

  4. Step 4

Hand out the Sponge Bob party invitations. If you would like to mail them to guests, press the sponge to flatten it and place into a large envelope to mail.

Tips & Warnings
  • This is a great craft project to get the kids involved with. Let them help with gluing and writing if they are old enough.
  • Use a super type glue to hold the invitations together. Glue sticks will not work because they do not have the holding power of other glues.
